Why You Should Add A Sunroom To Your House
If there is one thing that you should consider adding to your home, it’s a sunroom. A sunroom is possibly one of the most versatile rooms that you could have in the home, and when you have children or frequent house guests, an extension is always a great idea!

Children always need more room to play, and you can add an extension to ensure that they have the extra space. Eventually, the room can be used for other things but in the meantime, the kids are going to have a space to play.
My husband and I have a screened-in patio on the back of our home that we never use. We have several patios and decided the largest one would be much more functional as a sunroom. A sunroom would add square footage to our home AND allow it to be a more functional space for us and our many guests. Adding one is in our near future for sure.

So, why should you think about adding a sunroom to your home? From booking a Renewal by Andersen window replacement so you can strengthen the windows and let in the sunlight, to adding more flooring to extend the home, you can ensure that your sunroom is the perfect space for your home.
With this in mind, here are some more reasons why you should add a sunroom and improve the space in your home.
Boho sunroom decor
1- Increasing your home value.
Your house value is always going to be a great reason to add a sunroom to the house. You can actually recoup up to 50% of the house value when you add a sunroom feature. The bigger structures often have a higher market rate, too, so any renovations are really going to make a big difference. A sunroom adds light and space in one, which is always appealing to homeowners.

2- You can enjoy nature more with a sunroom.
When it’s pouring rain outside, you can often miss out on enjoying the garden space. It’s too cold outside in the winter, again, another way you miss out on the garden space. A sunroom changes all of that. You can bet that when you have a sunroom, you can spend time sitting and enjoying the outside without actually having to go out there!
You can get a premium seat to spectacular thunderstorms and rain showers, and when the early buds happen in spring, you can watch them poke through the earth. When the snow falls, you have the first look at the frost that settles. The sunroom is the perfect space to enjoy nature.
Adding a sunroom can help you save on electric bills
3- You’ll save on your power.
Believe it or not, you are going to have some help with your electricity bill when you have a custom sunroom addition. You can conserve electricity and use artificial lighting throughout the day for better visibility. The sunroom allows natural light to flood in for longer through the day, which means that you don't have to turn on the lights.

4- You get to decorate all over again.
When you are building a sunroom, you can redecorate all over again. You get to restyle the space and make sure that it's a bright, beautiful space to be in. You can add more flooring and you can upgrade the walls with a new bright paint job. This is your space to enjoy and you can choose everything you want for the new sunroom in your home.
