The 26th installment of my #MondayMantra series: I am bold
The mantra “I am bold” entered my journal during another automatic writing session the other day. (Automatic writing: writing freely and fast, as if you are downloading information from somewhere).
It caused me to research the meaning of the word. After my research, it made sense to me why I wrote it in my journal. I actually AM BOLD, and need to keep remembering that each and every day.
I wrote my own definition of what being bold means to me (and how I apply it to my own life). Maybe others can use it to bring out their bold soul from within…..
I AM BOLD
by Carolyn J. Braden
I courageously speak up for myself and others
I dare to make changes in my life to help me reach my greatest potential
I keep trying, even when told “no” over and over again
I stare at fear in the face and let it go
I question rules and the way things have always been
I take risks and try new things until I find what fits
I do not hesitate, I just do
How are you being bold in your own life? I’m curious to know…..
Sending my light and love to all who need it!
Backstory on my mantra series:
A mantra is a word, phrase, or sound that is repeated to aid in meditation. You could also compare it to a sort of prayer. I feel my journaling and writing of my mantras is a form of meditation or prayer. It calms me and helps me make better sense of my feelings and all the thoughts swimming around in my mind.
I believe saying or writing something repeatedly, as you already have it, aids one in attaining dreams and goals. If you write something as you already have it, it makes you feel, somehow, as if it is truly happening no matter how drastic or scary it may seem. It's like a trick to help your brain catch up to what your heart desires.
