1- Towel Ladder + Lots of Fluffy Towels
Use a towel ladder for guest towels
Guests need multiple places to hang their towels. It’s best you give them a place to hang their towel or else it’s going to wind up on their beds or worse, your beautiful floors! I put many options for guest towels, including my easy DIY wood towel rack, some modern wood hooks from Amazon and a towel ladder.
I chose a slim, metal ladder from Amazon and it’s been incredibly durable and was inexpensive. I added some coated metal hooks for many more towel hanging options. I also added extra-large fluffy towels from my favorite shopping venue, Target.
2- Ceramic Toothbrush Holder

I use a Sonicare toothbrush, which stands up on it’s own. I don’t have to use a toothbrush holder for it, so I overlooked adding one to the guest bath. When this happened, I ended up with toothpaste gunk all over my counters. It happens when guests don’t have a place to put their toothbrush. So, I added some cute ceramic toothbrush holders from Amazon. The minimalist donut shapes work for most toothbrush handles.
3- Ceramic Trinket Tray

The toothbrush holders I ordered from Amazon came with a ceramic trinket tray. The size I chose was wide enough to put my DIY gemstone filled soap dispensers, as well as long enough to hold the toothbrush holders and any other small items like jewelry.
I added some small gel and felt pads to the bottom of the tray as it did scratch my Corian countertop a bit when I moved it. Whoops. You live, you learn.
4- Super Cute Layered Handtowels

I am a firm believer in adding lots and lots of towels to a bathroom. I feel a towel to a bathroom is a like a pillow to a couch. The more you add, the more cozy and comfier it becomes. I like to layer my towels to give my towel bars a full look. Inexpensive hand towels that have cute sayings like the “Wash Your Hands” towels from Target, are even better.
5- Hand Towel Stand

We have double sinks in our guest bath and there is a towel rack by one of the sinks, but not by the other. There is a wall mirror in the place where it should be. Guests use the mirror though, so I didn’t want to remove it.
So, I added a counter towel stand from Amazon. It has a real stone base, making it very stable. It can also be used as a toilet paper holder and a necklace holder and comes in many finishes.
