Strangely enough, with all the social media and apps that encourage people to meet and gather together, people are at an all time low when it comes to feeling alone. Google “Lonliness statistics” and article after article will pop up packed with research on the topic.
The main reason I started The ABC, You’re Just Like Me was to help others understand that they are NOT ALONE in whatever feelings they may be feeling.
Every human experiences a number of feelings over the course of their life. Some feelings are wonderful and some, not so much. Those not-so-wonderful feelings are the feelings I most want others to understand that they are not alone in feeling.
In my writing, I often discuss my not-so-wonderful feelings and moments, then explain how I deal with them. In today’s writing piece, I am providing links to some of my favorite pieces. These are ones that I, myself visit time and time again when I need a reminder that the not-so-wonderful feelings will pass. Bookmark or save this post so you can do the same when you need it the most.
