This is not a sponsored or paid post.
I just wanted to share my love of beauty and hair styling with anyone interested. In the video, I show you how to use my favorite anti-redness makeup products as well as give you lots of tips and tricks for the best results possible.
If you don’t have time to watch the video (below), here are three of many things I’ve learned about covering red skin:

I love It Cosmetics CC Cream. I use the shade “Medium”. I’ve used it for years and years and years in many climates and it always performs the best when it comes to giving my skin medium coverage and great redness coverage. CC stands for “Color Correction”, which this product does just that. I have combination skin that is slightly sensitive and reactive. This product has never irritated my skin and lasts an entire day. The shade I use (medium) is suggested for many skin tones because it seems to magically color adjust to match many skin colors. If this shade is too light or too dark for you, they have many other color options. I usually top it off with some IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores setting powder. I purchase the products at Sephora, Ulta, Amazon and the IT Cosmetic website (depending on who has it on sale). The last time I ordered from the IT Cosmetics website, they gave me a referral link you can use for $10 off and free shipping: https://refer.itcosmetics.com/s/Carolyn512
If in need of more coverage OR if you only want to spot correct, I use IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream. It comes in a small pot but a little goes a long way. I use a concealer brush (one flat headed and one small pointed type) to spot cover pimples, scars and age spots. I buy mine at Sephora, Ulta, the IT Cosmetics website and Amazon. I have found that it covers my blemishes FLAWLESSLY. Some days I only use this to cover pimples and a little skin redness.
I use a damp Beauty Blender (dipped in water and excess water wrung out) to apply my foundation, CC Cream, concealers and more. I’ve tried brushes with the CC cream but the brushes only seem to call attention to any dry skin on my face (even if I didn’t think I had any!). The Beauty Blender (I buy mine at Sephora and Ulta) lasts me at least 4-6 months. I use the Beauty Blender brand of cleanser to wash it AND all my makeup brushes too. I’ve tried many cleansers and I find this one to be the absolute best at removing all makeup from my tools.
