Packing is one of the things that is the least fun about moving house, but it is also an unfortunate reality of the process. This is something that you’re going to need to get right when you’re looking to have a fast, efficient, and stress-free move.
Too many people these days don’t leave enough time to do their packing, and this results in a rushed and stressful process that we grow to hate. By having some organization, and splitting your packing into smaller sessions in the weeks leading up to the move, you can significantly reduce the stress and anxiety that packing can cause.
I started packing a couple of years in advance in preparation for our state to state move. This may seem way too early, but during the process, I was able to clear out clutter, donate and sell numerous items and be super organized when it actually came time to move.

Choosing removals experts to pack up and move your old home to your new one is so important. There are so many ideas that you need to make the most of when it comes to improving this, and you need to understand what it takes to improve this as much as possible.
A lot of people who are moving house wind up choosing the wrong removals experts because they don’t plan for what they are doing and they don't do their research. By selecting a reputable removals company such as Two Men And A Truck, you get peace of mind knowing that you possessions and items are going to be well looked after.
We interviewed several companies before making our selection for our state to state move. We asked a lot of questions during the interviews AND during the move process. Our moving company gave us great advice when it came to how to pack items and what items to take with us (like our vinyl records and electronics) as we drove to our new state.

Our last home was a complete gut-remodel and took us 12 years to complete since we did it as our “side hustle” and had full-time careers that weren’t house renovation related. We knew how much work it was going to be and knew it would pay off for us in the end, but most people aren’t quite privy to this sort of work. It’s like having a second job.
A total home renovation is EXTREMELY HARD and EXPENSIVE and I wouldn’t recommend it unless it’s a part of your career path. Fortunately, I was able to make it a part of mine, but it took a long time to get me there. The whole renovation process did teach us a lot and helped us in choosing our new house, which needed some minor cosmetic work, but nothing like our last one.
There are a lot of things that play a huge part in making a house move smooth and stress-free, and making sure you avoid mistakes is one of the most important. You need to do your best to make sure you focus on getting the best move you can, and being able to avoid these mistakes in order to help your home thrive is one of the key elements of this process that you need to keep in mind when looking to improve this right now.
