Everyone has their own taste when it comes to spicy food. Some people just can’t go anywhere near it, and others can’t get enough. For anyone who tends to really enjoy spicy food, there is often a process of becoming increasingly used to its strength, and therefore needing more and more to get the same kick.

If you are waiting it out for summer, you can even throw the prawns onto the BBQ after glazing them in this hot sauce first. That’s a dish that very few will be able to have just once.

If you like spice and you like it when it really goes all the way through a meal’s flavor, then you might want to make sure you have a decent Thai red curry recipe under your belt. With a good Thai curry, there is this incredible depth to the way the spice carries through, emboldened by the coriander and given just a little zing by the lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves. You can make this into a paste and have it with prawns, meat of your choice, mussels, or even tofu. It’s so versatile, and so delicious.
3- Jalapeno Jelly

Of course, going down the jalapeno route is always going to mean you end up with a considerable amount of spice on your tongue. Jalapenos retain their heat throughout all kinds of processes of cooking and while eaten raw, and there is so much you can do with them. One of the most delicious recipes I know of is to follow this jalapeno jelly recipe. You can have it on crackers with cheese, on sandwiches, or use it as a glaze, but in either case you are going to find it’s amazingly delicious - and incredibly spicy.

Another curry, and this time it’s only for the true spice fans. If you have ever ordered a firecracker curry at a restaurant, you will know that it tends to come with a warning. That’s because it’s the kind of meal that will genuinely blow your head off if you are not prepared for it.
If you want to make the perfect firecracker curry, you are going to need to source the hottest chillies you can find - ideally something like a scotch bonnet, if you can. That way, you can create the level of heat you are aiming for. I like to find many recipes on Pinterest. Head over to Pinterest and search “Firecracker Curry” and you’ll find tons of great recipes to try!
