What’s a smoothie bowl? It’s a smoothie so thick and creamy, you have to eat it in a bowl!
Made with butterfly pea powder, it is your go-to dessert when you have a sweet tooth but still want to maintain your healthy way of life.
With my addition of fresh squeezed oranges and avocado, it is super creamy without any addition of dairy. It is also sweetened naturally by the pineapple and bananas, which means no added sugar! This blend also gives it a tropical taste that will make you feel like you are lying out on a beach in a warm, tropical location!
My husband loved this gluten free, paleo, vegan and dairy free smoothie bowl, and I know you will too!
FYI: Butterfly Pea powder comes from the Butterfly Pea flower which is a traditional Asian medicinal herb that has been used to relieve stress and anxiety, fight stress and more. It also works as a great natural food dye!
