The brand Viori started showing up in my Shop app and I was curious about their bar shampoos and bar conditioners. I had used some bar shampoos in the past and was wanting to get back to using more products that had less waste in packaging and had ingredients I understood. I also needed the product to be highly effective too! Read on to learn about my thoughts on Viori and how to get the most beautiful hair with their products.

Who is Viori?
Strangely enough around the same time I was researching bar shampoos, Viori reached out to me and asked if I’d like to collab. My opinion of the brand is 100% honest and true…I don’t have to write articles for brands and actually never write articles about anything I don’t fully believe in. I research companies and also fully test all products before writing or producing any kind of content. With that being said…..
Viori is cruelty free!
Viori is a brand that creates all-natural beauty products. They are cruelty free (they are Leaping Bunny certified…no animal testing!) and are vegan, plastic-free, and sustainable. I also love that the products are sulfate-free (they’ll keep my hair color safe from washing away with each wash) and paraben-free (no itchy scalps!).
Viori’s brand standards and how to use the shampoo bars and conditioners
Viori sent me a kit that had their bamboo storage tower and a bar of shampoo and conditioner in their most popular scent called Hidden Waterfall, but they do have many scents and even unscented products. When it was time to wash my hair, I used both and was blown away. I will never tell you that your experience will be exactly the same as mine as everyone is different (hair types, genetics, etc). However, I have only had positive experiences when using Viori products.

My hair was super soft, smelled amazing, seemed to have more volume and was very shiny. It was a perfect first experience. I decided to test it a 2nd and 3rd time and got the same results each time.
I think my aging hair is proof that the product is very effective!
What’s Viori’s Secret?
Their products contain Longsheng Rice Water and after doing a lot of research, I’ve learned that it can promote hair growth, prevent dandruff, add shine and more. It’s also a source of vitamins and minerals. Longsheng rice fields are beautiful too and I hope to be able to visit one at some point!
I also love that they send me emails with educational materials about the brand, the ingredients, how to cure my bamboo product holder (which I am definitely going to try as it helps prevent mold and mold is always happening where I live in Southwest Florida) and how to use the products.

How to Use Viori Bar Shampoos and Conditioners
I followed their helpful guide that said to get my hair wet and then rub the shampoo bar into my hair. I rubbed it in and wetted my hair a little more and it produced the exact same kind of lather that a liquid shampoo would. It rinsed out very easily (I have very long and thick-ish hair, so products that wash out well and don’t leave residue are the best!).
Then I rubbed the conditioner bar into my hair and let it sit in my hair for about 10 minutes (but you really only need to leave it in 1-2 minutes). I rinsed it and again, it left no residue.

How Long Do the Bars Last?
My wet hair felt very soft upon rinsing and after blow-drying it, it was shiny and soft. I kept the bars in the bamboo tower for storage because it has drain holes which keep your products dry and make them last longer. Each bar is a decent size and can last over 60 washings.
Your hair length and how you take care of the bars will determine their exact amount of use time. The average shampoo bar is usually around $12 (reasonable to me when you factor in ingredients, effectiveness and how long it lasts), and with my discount you get 10% off your entire order.

What Other Products Does Viori Make?
Viori has body butter bars, soap, pet shampoo bars, dry shampoo, scrub bars, clarifying shampoo bars, and more! After having such a great experience with their shampoo bar and conditioner, I ordered their dry shampoo (in the scent vanilla coconut which smells DIVINE!) and their Advanced-Repair Moisturizing Conditioner Bar for when I need extra moisture.
It really works well and I use it every other wash along with the Viori shampoos and conditioner for an extra boost of moisture (sort of like a conditioning mask).
My husband has been using their tea tree infused shampoo (in lieu of his Head & Shoulders) and has had no recurrence of dandruff or dry scalp. I’ve tried to find him a healthier alternative for years and we finally found it with Viori.

Viori Dry Shampoo Review
I now use Viori Dry Shampoo on my day 2 and day 3 post washing my hair. As I wrote above, it smells amazing and it works so great! It adds volume to my hair and absorbs all my oil, which means I can wash my hair less. Washing your hair less saves you money if you color your hair and it saves water!

It has kaolin clay in it, which works perfectly to absorb oil fast and keep it absorbed all day. I like that it isn’t a spray (it’s in sustainable packaging which is recyclable) and I love how you can sprinkle it in your hands or directly on your hair line and it brushes away and leaves no residue. This makes it perfect for all hair colors.

In January 2025, Viori released some limited edition handmade jewelry made by the Red Yao women. I purchased a ring and some earrings and they are GORGEOUS! They sent me an incorrect ring design, but their customer service promptly sent me the correct one when I reached out.
The jewelry is an extension of Viori to further financial support for the Red Yao women of China. Their long, healthy hair is a testament to what the fermented rice water can do for you too!
