Pets and their love. They give it freely each and every day. They are the epitome of unconditional love. Each pet is different and shows their love in unique ways. It is our job as humans to allow them to do this so we can learn unconditional love from them.
When I’m sad, my pet still loves me.
When I’m happy, my pet still loves me.
When I’m frustrated, my pet still loves me.
When I’m impatient, my pet still loves me.
When I’m angry, my pet still loves me.
When I’m feeling weak, my pet still loves me.
I’ll always know true love as long as I have a pet in my life.

I’ve had many people shut me out (people that were “supposed” to love me unconditionally) over the years for displaying various types of NORMAL emotions and behaviors. It’s sad, but true. I suppose that’s why I have such a love for pets. They’ve never shut me out. They allow me to be me. They allow me to be human. Through my pet’s love, I’ve learned what true unconditional love is and I will be forever grateful to any pet I’ve owned, currently own, and will own in the future for teaching me this valuable lesson.
Don’t forget my kids page- Tiny Treehouse Kids! I post my weekly Friday Funnies comic there too and it’s a kid and parent approved page!
