A Pep Talk Poem For Anyone Beginning a New Life Journey
Whether you are facing endings or new beginnings, this poem is dedicated to you. Pep talks, otherwise known as positive self-talk, can be beneficial to yourself to help you process your inner thoughts or inner dialogue. Self pep-talks are even prerequisites for any business leader, according to the Harvard Business Review.

Monarch Motivational Quote and Image By Carolyn J. Braden
I wrote this poem, or my version of a pep talk, on April 30th, 2023 in dedication to myself and my husband, as we have been dealing with a lot of endings and new beginnings with our current “Hurricane Ian life chapter”. Other incredibly strong people I am close to are also dealing with many endings and beginnings and also needed to hear my words and seemed to enjoy hearing them, so I thought you would too.
Between feeling this, as well as feeling springtime babies being born (in nature and in the animal kingdom), and it being graduation season, prom season and more, I felt it it was time to share. Enjoy!

Your stepping stone support system
Dear sweet soul
You may not have planned for this new beginning
But the collective soul and God knew it was best for you
Climb that mountain
Sometimes life has a funny way of making us do the things we do not want to do
But ultimately, it’s the way life is
You are ready now more than ever
Adventure is freedom
You are strong
You are talented
You are love
Rise above it all and soar
Remain firm in your beliefs
Continue to listen to your intuition
And don’t forget about those that helped you along your way
Life is a journey quote
The path is clear
The road is open
And the best is yet to come
