“The narcissus is the December birth flower and symbolizes good wishes, faithfulness and respect.” —-FTD by Design
I've always been drawn to paper whites. They are also known as a type of a narcissus. Their bulbs bear clusters of small very fragrant pure white flowers. Smelling them remind me of spring.
The last time I purchased them, I was preparing to sell my last home 10 years ago. Interestingly enough, I was pulled towards the flower recently as I prepare to sell my current home. Their fragrance not only reminds me of spring, but also of change.
Whether it be selling your home, working on getting healthier, changing careers or jobs, doing more traveling, or more, winter is a great time to brew some change in your life. Though it’s so tempting to watch Netflix all day (trust me, I know the temptation…..they have some amazing and well-written shows!), balance your schedule and keep moving forward with whatever goals or dreams you are working towards.
As seen in my photos, my American Eskimo, Minnie Pearl, definitely keeps me on track as far as my fitness goals. Even in the super cold temps, she loves to walk and play! And I do my very best to oblige.
