The Inspiration/My Story

I let my NOOD Pro Stylist Kit sit for a couple of weeks before I tested it. NOOD sent it to me to test but I really had zero hopes for it, as I’ve tried so many bras, tapes and more to hold my girls up so I could wear more types of clothing. I didn’t feel like being disappointed again, so I put it in my closet and waited until I was ready. Well, I finally decided to give it a go and NOOD didn’t disappoint me. I honestly was blown away and here’s why.

Let’s Test NOOD

If you have a large bust, you already know the bra struggle: strapless bras that slide down, sticky bras that do absolutely nothing, and “boob tape” that promises lift but delivers disappointment. I’ll be honest—I was skeptical too. But after trying NOOD, I finally get the hype.

The products come in many colors to match your skin

This is the first boob tape/kit I’ve used that actually works for large busts. Real lift, real support, and no constant adjusting.

Why NOOD Boob Tape Is Different

Most boob tapes aren’t made with bigger chests in mind. NOOD is. Their Game Changer and Shape Tape is thin, yet stretchy, and strong, which makes a huge difference when you need real support and comfort—not just coverage.

Cleaning skin and applying the nipple covers

What stood out immediately:

  • Strong adhesive that actually holds

  • Comes in many colors, making it a very diverse product

  • Flexible stretch for shaping and lift

  • Wide enough to distribute weight evenly

  • Secure feel and soft, no digging or discomfort

The Lift Test

The true test? Lift and shape. And my kit by NOOD passed with flying colors. I was able to create a lifted, rounded shape that looked just as good (if not better) than my favorite bras—especially under dresses and tops with tricky necklines. It was weird not being “strapped down” or held down by a regular bra, but it was a good weird. A good weird, almost freeing, that I haven’t felt since before I started wearing bras.

The Game Changer results are great!

This is the kind of product that lets you:

  • Go braless under backless dresses

  • Wear plunging necklines

  • Style asymmetrical or strapless tops

  • Feel supported without wires or straps

Testing NOOD boob tape by Carolyn Braden

The Dance Test: NOOD Passed!

Large Bust Approved VIA my TEST

I wore it confidently for hours without worrying about slipping, sagging, or peeling. I tried it with my favorite 70’s vintage halter dress (the poor sewn in bra is dry rotting, so NOOD helped me continue wearing it!) and played with my dogs and danced. My boobs stayed put. I tried it with a tight t-shirt and they looked normal, perky and perfect. I wore NOOD to the grocery store and then home to workout in, and still, my boobs held in there.

How I Apply NOOD Boob Tape (Quick Tips)

If you’re new to boob tape or NOOD, here are a few tips that made all the difference. I tested the NOOD Pro-Stylist Kit, which has The Game Changer (the “Lift & Shape bra”), the reusable Nipple Covers (helps your delicate nipples not stick to the sticky bra), and the Shape Tape. I highly recommend this full kit for full day wear. You can get it via my links in this article, or Macy’s has NOOD too.

Wearing NOOD with a t-shirt: flawless

  • Always apply to clean, dry skin (I used a sensitive skin baby wipe and allowed my skin to fully dry before applying)

  • I applied the nipple covers first, then the Game Changer. Lift first, then secure, following the package directions. Then I added some Shape Tape at the top for a bit of extra lift, as I like “my girls” to be high.

  • Smooth edges well for a seamless look, trimming any of the bra to fit what you will be wearing (either before or carefully after applying)

  • If it wrinkles, you may have too large of a Game Changer (they come in many sizes), so cut it to fit before applying the next time, though the wrinkles did not show in any of the things I wore, even a tight tee.

Comfort & Wear Time

One of my biggest concerns was comfort. Good news: NOOD is surprisingly comfortable, even for extended wear. Once it’s on, you forget about it. No pulling and no constant readjusting. It was so nice not having a bunch of skin rolled up on my back from a strapless bra too! Just clean lines. Just think: wedding day or prom days made so much easier too!

Removal was also easy when done correctly—just use a body oil and take your time. No drama, no pain. I did read that others had issues removing theirs, but as I know, not all skin types are the same. So, while this product removed from my skin easily, I have to note, you may not have the exact same experience, but if you follow the directions as I did, I believe you will have success. Very mature and thin skin may be an issue or you’ll need to be even more careful when removing, just to note.

I am a believer in NOOD

Downsides?

The only thing I would note is that towards the end of the day, the Shape Tape part started making my skin itch only slightly. I do have sensitive skin, so it must have reacted to the tape. I didn’t have any itchiness with the Lift & Shape bra itself though. I also read in some reviews that women had issues with it not holding. I did not experience this as I followed the directions perfectly. If you put the product on lotion coated or oily skin, it will not stick all day.

Final Verdict

If you’ve ever thought boob tape “wasn’t made for big boobs,” NOOD will change your mind. I was seriously impressed…for real! Take a look at the NOOD website to see full tutorials, and see real women with breasts of all sizes and colors using the product. As a former teacher, proper education is the best way to learn how a product can work for you!

This is hands-down the best boob tape (I love the kit!) I’ve tried for a large bust—and it’s now a staple in my closet for special events, vacations, and everyday outfits that need a little extra lift.

Large busts deserve good support—and NOOD delivers.
