Why I Love Prime Prometics Makeup

Prime Prometics is a makeup brand I recently learned about. I was messaged by the brand to do some video and photography work for them and during the process, I got to work with two of their most popular products. The mascara, Primelash, and the liner, are two pretty amazing products and I wanted to share my new love of the cruelty free brand and a little bit I learned about Prime Prometics. Read on to learn why I love Prime Prometics.

Before and after Prime Prometics Mascara in Black

First of all, Prime Prometics was extremely easy to work with. When they approached me, they were kind and always had great communication. This is why I am writing this article. I think it’s important to like a company that you buy from, and this is a company that I think you’d really like too. If I didn’t have a good experience with them, I would not “share the love” of the brand.

Prime Prometics is also cruelty free. I always look for this when working with a brand. It’s important to try your best to use products that aren’t tested on animals. I started my cruelty free brand mission years ago and it’s something I will always think about before buying a beauty product.

Two coats of black Prime Prometics mascara

Prime Prometics is currently aimed at a mature beauty lovers’ audience but the products are so great that I think any age would love it. They, as a brand, try to make products that bring out the natural beauty in you instead of making one look older.

The only time I wanted to look older was when I was young. Funny how that works out, isn’t it!? Their products are aimed at enhancing what you have to work with, like making your natural lashes pop, which seem to disappear as you age.

This is Prime Prometics brown mascara and liner

The first product I tested and created a video for was Prime Prometics Primelash mascara. The brand had me create content using the black version, but it comes in blue and brown too. With the very first swipe of the long thin wand with silicone bristles, I knew I was using something special. My lashes instantly popped. When I run out of my complimentary tubes, I’ll buy this mascara either on Amazon or on the Prime Prometics website, depending on where the best discounts or shipping costs lie.

Primelash lengthened my lashes, making them so long that they almost touched my brows. My bottom lashes, which were starting to look so sparse that I thought were never going to look full and long again, immediately could be seen again! The directions state to put on coat on and let it dry, then to add a second coat. After the second coat, I was blown away.

The Prime Prometics Glide liner really does glide on!

Not only did the mascara make every single lash look longer, it also lasted all day. I had zero flakes and my content lens wearing eyes were not once irritated. It’s not waterproof, but it’s not “inky” either. What I mean by this is it seems sort of water resistant, which doesn’t cause long black streaks on my cheeks or raccoon eyes after sweating or crying a few tears.

I used the blue Prime Prometics mascara in blue on my lower lashes for this look

I live in SWFL and tested this mascara daily for several weeks. I sweat a lot, as it’s quite hot in my current Sanibel Island home. I also sweat during workouts, and the mascara stayed put all day.

I’ve cried a few tears with still dealing with Hurricane Ian damages to my home (it’s been over a year since it hit the small island and it still sadly looks so devastated in many areas), and the mascara stayed on then too. I’ve been using the mascara for over a month now and I still am seeing the same great results.

I truly love the blue mascara and liner, as it is known to accent brown eyes nicely

Primelash mascara is also easy to take off. It acts kind of like a “tubing” mascara, meaning it coats the lashes with what seems to become “tubes” and when I wash my face, the tubes come off. I use an overall e.l.f. Holy Hydration cleansing balm to take all my makeup off with a black makeup washcloth (I love Arkwright Makeup Remover Wash Cloths which don’t show makeup stains!) which also easily removes Primelash mascara and all my makeup. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great daily mascara.

Applying Prime Prometics glide liner in navy

The second product I tested was the Prime Prometics Prime Eyes Glide Eyeliner. This liner also comes in three colors, a black, a brown and a blue (navy). It is buttery-soft pencil-like eyeliner that can be twisted out of its tube. It comes pointed, but has a built-in sharpener in the tip. If you pull the capped end off (the end with the spongy tip for smudging), the sharpener is located in this piece. It helps you create a nice clean edge.

The smudging tip on the liner softens your eyeliner look

I am a big fan of a wined liner and usually cannot achieve it with a gel-like pencil, but I could with Prime Eyes Glide Eyeliner. I used the sharpened tip to glide on the liner past my eye, then used the smudging end to make it swoop past my eye.

This liner is a dream. As you age, the skin around your eyes becomes very delicate, and having a soft liner like this to glide over your skin is helpful. It’s easy to use and looks simply beautiful. It’s also waterproof, which means it lasts all day too! I’m usually having to retouch my wing with other brands, but this one stayed put.

Navy liner and mascara compliments brown eyes

I like to use the smudging end to smudge the liner on my bottom lashes to give my eyes a soft look. You can create both bold and soft looks with the liner, which makes it a great product for all occasions. I have brown eyes and red hair and found the brown and the navy to really make my eyes pop. The black liner was great for bolder looks.

Overall, Prime Prometics is a great makeup brand. I have somewhat sensitive skin and eyes and did not have any issues. I am extremely impressed with the mascara and the liner and look forward to using more products for the brand. If you are in the market for a new eyeliner or mascara, definitely check out this brand.
