Servings: 4
Preparation + Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Suggested kitchen tools: drinking glasses (I used a copper-ish mug set I found on Amazon), measuring cup, small sauce pan, blender (I like using my high powered version by Vitamix)
Drinking Strawberry Rosé Lemonade in copper mugs
Ingredients:
One 10 oz. bag frozen whole strawberries (I used organic)
Juice from 2 large lemons (about 1/2 cup…freshly squeezed is best!)
1 bottle Rosé (sparkling wine, I used LaMarca) OR make it non-alcoholic by using sparkling white grape juice
Simple Syrup Ingredients:
1/2 cup filtered water
1/2 cup sugar (I used sugar cane)
What the Strawberry Rosé Lemonade looks like
How-To:
Make the simple syrup first: Combine the filtered water and the sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil on high heat (This won’t take long!). Whisk to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat. Set aside to cool.
Add the bag of frozen strawberries to the blender. Add the lemon juice and the simple syrup and blend until smooth.
Add approximately 1/3 cup of the strawberry lemonade mixture to a glass. Top with 1/2 cup Rosé or sparkling grape juice. (It will bubble A LOT so add it slowly.)
Gently stir using a straw, serve and enjoy!
I used LaMarca Rosé Wine
Tips and Tricks:
I found my ingredients at Whole Foods but the ingredients can be found at most grocery stores and online
You can adjust the amount of strawberry mixture and rosé or sparkling grape juice to your liking.
