These Slouchy Gray Boots Were Made for Walking

Living in Southwest Florida for over 4 years makes me miss wearing my boots. I have lots as I previously lived in Kentucky and it got much colder there. Thankfully I held onto many of my boots and they are great when we travel to colder climates AND since we’ll be moving back to a colder climate (hopefully soon) I’ll get to wear my boots more often. Regardless of the SWFL heat, I still bought another pair of boots recently and loved them. Read on to learn about my slouchy gray boots and some styling ideas.

The slouchy gray boot

A boot can transform your winter wardrobe and keep your feet super warm and comfy. Get some winter boot ideas from Vogue here. I love my heeled Hunter boots for rainy, snowy and icy winters. Sorel also has some cute boots that are waterproof (I love my Joan of Artic Wedges) and are actually comfortable!

The Slouchy Gray Boots + Discount

I was browsing on Temu (their low prices are great!) and came across a pair of slouchy gray boots and knew I loved them. I ordered them and they came pretty fast. They are soft like suede, but are vegan, meaning they are only made out of fabric materials. This keeps the cost low but the quality is excellent.

The heel on my pair is chunky and not too tall, which makes them actually very comfortable for all day wear. They are also lightweight. If I lived in a very cold climate, I’d pair them with thicker socks as they are on the thinner side. They are tall enough to keep your ankles and lower legs warm.

Not all Temu things arrive quickly as they are shipped from far away, but if you buy from a “local vendor” the items usually come faster. Like all online shopping, not everything I’ve ordered has been perfect, however, they have an amazing return policy that is great.

If you use my link here or my discount code afe55197 at checkout, you’ll receive 30% off if you are a new Temu app user. That’s how I started shopping Temu in 2023. I got a discount code and scored a few items for very low prices. I especially loved the $20 acrylic cosmetic organizer I bought, which was the very first thing I ordered. It looks super cute on my vanity and stores all my perfumes.

Nancy Sinatra boot style on Carolyn Braden

My Nancy Sinatra style

Gray Boots + Leggings

A while back, I watched the video of Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Were Made for Walking” and loved her boots and sweater with the tights style. While wearing simply a short sweater, a pair of tights and some boots are great for dancing and music videos, I do know the style won’t really work in everyday life.

Watch her video here on YouTube for inspiration if you need it!

So, instead of tights, you could easily wear the boots with a pair of black leggings and a longer sweater. I got my lightweight gray sweater on Temu for under $10. If you want to do the tights and sweater instead, you could wear a pair of hot pants/yoga shorts under it like the girls the music video did. My boots look a little similar to the ones Nancy wore as they slouch a bit and have pointy toes.

Gray Boots + Jeans

This gray boot works great with some skinny jeans. I paired them with a gray sweater I got on Temu and the dark stripes in the sweater compliment the boots. I layered my sweater with a tank, as I do daily. I like bra tanks because they give me a bit of support and help my clothes lay better on my body.

This flannel skirt is comfy!

Gray Boots and Skirt

I also paired the boots with tights, a flannel skirt I got on Temu and a Fleetwood Mac shirt I also got on Temu. The skirt is so cute paired with many things (I like it with my evil eye sweatshirt too) and the boots are super comfy, as is the entire outfit.
