I wrote a piece a little while ago about a virtual game I created called TAG (Tell A Gift), You're It and I Love You. The game is fun and a very easy way to tell someone you are thinking of them and that you love them.
Many of my friends and family joined the fun of my game and it is AWESOME! (Thank you everyone who played and is still playing!)
This caused me think of all the other ways I tell people I love them.
Some of the things I do:
- I send people notes via snail mail
- I send texts
- I write a post-it note and stick it on a mirror where the person will see it
- I just say it to someone directly.
Today, I present to you yet another easy way to tell someone "I love you"!
#OLIVEYOU --How it works
Send a text** saying "Olive" OR just say "Olive" to someone.
Why not just say "I love you?" Well, because sometimes people are uncomfortable with that phrase (have a teenager that shrivels up when you say "I love you" to them in front of their friends?) AND IT'S JUST FUN. And I love to have fun!
Sending my light and "olive" to all!
**Here's to hoping an olive emoji is on the way so you can just text an olive!
Fun Fact: The olive tree itself is a symbol of peace and friendship. Find out more about the olive tree (and other types of trees) via The Present Tree.
