Why My Makeup Routine Changed as My Skin Matured
Maturing skin has different needs with skincare and makeup — and pretending otherwise just doesn’t work. When I first discovered Natasha Denona, it wasn’t in my beauty budget, but in doing some smart shopping (sale scores and more!), I realized that good makeup that actually works is worth spending a little more on if it lasts all day, doesn’t crease and actually works in favor of my skin.
Over time, I realized my makeup routine needed to:

Hy-Glam Concealer “before” on right, after on left!
💫 Skin
The Hy-Glam Concealer is my go-to for covering redness. I use shade N3 to conceal redness. You can wear it alone or under or over foundation. I especially like it because I have found it creases significantly less than any other concealer I’ve used and I have used a lot! I put it on with the tube and use a damp beauty sponge to blend it into my skin. It conceals all day!

💫 Eyes
Natasha Denona eyeshadows are iconic for a reason. The shadows are buttery, easy to blend, and incredibly flattering on maturing lids. I gravitate toward soft neutrals, warm pinks, and subtle shimmers that add brightness without creasing. I adore her pinky-neutral shades and then swipe on some of her shimmers for a pop of light that makes my eyes look more awake.
Her blushes last forever!
💫 Cheeks
Her cheek products add the perfect amount of color and radiance. A soft flush paired with a gentle glow instantly makes my skin look healthier and more awake. Her palletes have many creamy blushes that last and work well with my aging and combination skin. They are also great if you are a “one-stop” beauty shopper like I am. I love a good palette that has blush, shadow, and highlighter and many of her palletes do.
You can layer her “glow creams” over blushes for a dewy glow that looks soft and not oily. And, the most important of all is that it lasts. I can put on her blushes in the morning and they last all the way through my workouts at night. No joke! I am currently loving her Berry Pop palette and even use the glow cream in it as a lipstick.

What I love most is how everything layers seamlessly. The Natasha Denona bronzers add warmth to my skin and also is great for contouring. Her highlighters make my skin glow. I use her Tan Bronze and Glow Palette for the perfect summer glow all year long. The end result looks like great skin — not heavy makeup.
