It’s a Fashion Bargain: Ruffle Skirt, Amazon $15
I started wearing skirts with shorts attached in 2025. I was wanting to have a bit more style to my daily work at home attire and this skirt, also a tennis or pickleball skirt, fit my needs. I have several styles and wrote about the skirts here. Then I came across a cute ruffle version of the skirt with shorts attached on Amazon and with it being $15, I ordered one and gave it a chance. It did not disappoint!

It’s Comfy and Stays Cute All Day!
I love anything that is comfortable and always looks sharp and this skirt is that. I hate having to iron and steam skirts, and so when I wash this one, I dry it on a very low temp until it’s almost dry, then hang it immediately. Then I don’t have to iron or steam it and it stays fluffy and wrinkle free all day. It’s lightweight, so you can even workout in it and I do!

The waistline is stretchy so it will fit many body types. I wear a size small and so far I have it in black and white, but it comes in other sizes and colors. I am 5’1” and so it is the perfect length on my petite body type, however, with it having attached shorts, anyone at any height can wear it knowing they won’t show off their underwear when a breeze hits or they bend over.

Ruffle Skirt: Spring and Summer
For the spring and summer, I wear the ruffle skirt with a t-shirt. For everyday casual fashion, I’ll wear it with an Amazon Essentials v-neck shirt. It’s stretchy, durable, soft and comfy. I love a v-neck to make my shorter neckline look a bit more elongated. For cooler nights or days as the spring transitions into summer, I will add a jacket or a zip up hoodie. I love this bright green zip up hoodie from Amazon.

I love this pearl and rhinestone jean jacket as an updated version of my favorite 80’s jean jacket. Buy it in white, add a cute custom personalized wedding tee, and you’ll have a cute bridal bachelorette weekend getaway outfit when paired with the white ruffle skirt!
I wore my white skirt with my American Eskimo Love tee in support of my fluffy Eskie pups, Minnie Pearl and Johnny Cash! My favorite Adidas shoes pair perfectly with it for summer, spring and early fall.
This is a perfect rainy day outfit for winter or fall
Ruffle Skirt: Fall and Winter
For the fall and winter, I’ll wear the skirt with sweatshirts or sweaters, boots and depending on the weather, a pair of tights. I have a men’s fisherman sweater from the Amazon Essentials collection and love it with the black ruffle skirt.
I ordered it in a medium so it’d be a bit oversized and it was a perfect score at $13! I added some wedge booties, or some wedge Hunter boots for rainy days. I have green wedge booties from Temu and they go great with it too. Amazon has the wedge booties here too.
This men’s fisherman sweater is cozy but lightweight
Add a cute coat from this article on our website or a fun sweatshirt (like my Paris sweatshirt) from our Target Shop and you’ll be ready for cool fall and snow filled winters! We also adore the budget friendly Wrangler bags and purses at Walmart and they would look super cute with this skirt!
