I love rainbows. I love seeing them after a storm, but that’s not always possible. I have sun catchers around the house, but the sun has to shine on them for a rainbow to occur, and where I currently live, we don’t have a whole lot of sunshine.
Since seeing an actual rainbow every day may not occur, you can look for what I call the “Every Day Rainbows”.
While driving with my husband recently, I saw someone trying to turn into a fast food parking lot and a person in a wheelchair was trying to cross the lot entrance. The lot was on a slight hill, so the person in the wheelchair was struggling. The person trying to turn into the lot got out of their car and helped push the person up the hill.
My heart was filled with joy to see this. The fact that they got out of their car to help someone they didn’t know…..wow. How awesome. That moment became my “Every Day Rainbow”.
The world if full of negativity and sadness. Adults and children are starving, homeless, in pain, fearful, sick, and tired. All of this darkness can really bring humans down. If you are an empath like me, you actually feel all the darkness. An empath, someone that can tune in to the emotional experience of a person, place or animal joy, has to constantly look on the other side of all the pain. Empaths have to look for an Every Day Rainbow to be able to keep their positivity going.
The next time you are feeling down and can’t seem to shake the darkness of the world, look for your Every Day Rainbow. Whether it be an actual rainbow, a blissful moment you observe, or you actually create your own Every Day Rainbow moment (by helping a wonderful cause yourself), make it happen. Your heart and soul will soar with joy!
Sending love and light to anyone who needs it!
