It’s been a strange 15 months. Void of most of the celebrations, it doesn’t mean that milestones and experiences should have gone unnoticed.
We’re all missing friends and family we haven’t been able to see, and a gift is a great way of letting people know that you’re thinking of them.
In a time where seeing people is more challenging--especially loved ones who live far away, it is still possible to show them that you care about them thanks to online shopping.

Despite living over 1,000 miles away from my family, we are still are able to send awesome things to each other thanks to online shopping and all the delivery services our generation has today. Right before I moved to Florida from Kentucky, I gifted my grandmother with “30 Days of Notes”, which was a box filled with my handwritten memories on note cards. She loved them and continues to read them everyday. Click this link to see how I put that gift together.
Here are 5 more beautiful gift ideas that can be sent directly to loved ones to let them know that you’re thinking of them.

Since the beginning of the first lockdown more and more people began to utilize the services of online flower retailers to send floral arrangements and other gifts to their loved ones. However, this is now something that local flower shops have got on board with (if they hadn’t done so already!)
Do a quick search online for flower shops close by to your loved one and see if they offer delivery. After all, flowers will tend to keep better if they don’t have to travel far, and you’re doing your bit to support a small business, too!
If you do live close by friends and familiy and are able to give flowers directly to them, I wrote an article with my seven unique ways you can gift flowers instead of in a vase. Click here to view it.

Having something made unique to them makes for a special gift that will be treasured for years to come. I had some cutting boards made for our realtors that sold our last home in one day. Having something to look forward to can help people trying to get through challenging times. While it’s tough at the moment to get to book events such as shows and concerts, sending an e-gift card with the cash value that can be redeemed at a later date is a great way of giving your loved ones something to look forward to.
Why not also send them a gift card for their favorite restaurant so they can make a night of it when things begin to open up again? You could also send them something that reminds a loved one of their favorite place to visit like seashells if they love the beach. Keeping something around that reminds them of their favorite vacation place can help them have something to look forward to. Check out my Magic Seashell gift idea by clicking here.

Too long in lockdown has worn out people’s creativity. Thankfully, however, some companies have come to the rescue by putting together subscription boxes to take the blues away. Whether it’s a date night in a box for the couple who have had one too many nights in with Netflix and takeout, or a baking box for the enthusiast who has become bored of their circulation of recipes, there’s plenty out there for everybody.
