Have you ever been asked the question "What do you do?" and rattle off an answer like "I work in sales....." or "I work in marketing....". All these answers are great, but sound very much "of the norm."
I like to ask people the question "Who are you?" instead. I think the answer you get is much more interesting. If you truly want to get to know a person, asking them about who they are makes them think. They can't just rattle off a rehearsed answer. They actually have to think about who they are as a person.
What would you answer if someone asked you today "Who are you?"?
Are you a creator?
Are you a encourager?
Are you a motivator?
Think about it.
If no one ever asks you that question, try asking it to others. You may meet a true connection and will stand out because you dared to get to know someone in a new way.
