How to Make Valentine Candy Sunglasses
I love a cute pair of sunglasses and if they sparkle a little, that’s even better! From Princess of the Bride sunglasses to birthday sprinkle sunglasses to mermaid sunglasses, I’ve created a lot of fun sunglasses crafts, and this candy adorned pair is among my favorites. They are perfect for a Galentine’s day lunch and more. Read on to learn how to make Valentine candy sunglasses.
These sunglasses would be cute for Galentine’s Day
Beach Photo Fun
All my sunglasses crafts are fun and they make for cute photos. For my niece’s 16th birthday, we wore some heart shaped sunglasses and took a cute heart shaped photo after digging in the sand a bit. See that tutorial and photo results here on my website. You don’t have to bling up or decorate sunglasses to have a cute photo. We wore the plain heart sunglasses (I got a huge pack of them on Temu for about $10) and it turned out perfect.
These look cute on their own or with cute heart accessories

Theme Sunglasses
If you are planning a big event, fun sunglasses or anything that everyone is wearing that matches makes for an even better picture memory. You can even customize sunglasses and more to go along with a theme. You could do planet/sun/stars sunglasses for a space birthday. If kids will be wearing the sunglasses, make sure to get some kid’s sized pairs to customize too.

The candy sunglasses supplies
How-To:
Fold your hand towel (I use one to balance the sunglasses) and wrap your sunglasses around them.
A towel balances the sunglasses while you create
Lay out some of the candy pieces onto the sunglasses for placement ideas. Then start using hot glue (on a low temperature setting) to glue on the larger pieces onto the edges of your sunglasses.
The candy theme would go well with a birthday party too
Next, add a thin layer of Liquid Fusion glue to where ever you want to place the rhinestones and pearls.
Adding the pearls and rhinestones
Use the wax tip pencil to apply them to the glue. I even added some rhinestones and pearls on the candy, which I also slightly layered.
I added rhinestones to the polymer candy too
I used a pointy cotton swab to clean up any “oozy” glue.
Clean up glue messes with a cotton swab
Then your sunglasses are done! I let mine dry for 24 hours before wearing them. They look super cute with my QUEEN OF HEARTS Galentine’s Day tiara. See that tutorial here.
