I illustrated a children’s book a couple of years ago (Bridging Connections). I always loved to paint and draw (and majored in art in college) but I never dreamed I’d actually end up illustrating an entire book for someone. I chose to use watercolor paint to add color to my drawings and it turned out beautifully. It definitely livened up my love for painting.

There are also so many styles to choose from, a person who does not connect to paintings of one style may connect to paintings of another style, we can choose to combine styles and create new worlds and works that have never been tried, a person who does not connect to surrealist paintings may connect to gothic paintings and vice versa.

Some people will draw surrealistic paintings on canvas and some people will prefer to paint gothic paintings on stone, each and their own preference, but it takes time to develop and may take months before you realize exactly what type of art you want to draw. Some find their feet with oil paintings or some fall in love with acrylics but either way, it's a way to express yourself.

Contrary to popular belief, painting does not require a great deal of knowledge and technique, of course, as time passes and the technique improves, it can be seen that the paintings improve. Of course most people will not be able to draw or paint at a high level after just one lesson but equally a person who has just started dancing will not be able to dance perfectly from the first moment. Painting, like any hobby, requires practice and hard work; the difference is that painting gives a very large space to express yourself and your feelings.
In conclusion, learning painting and expressing your inner self and feelings through this amazing art, anyone can find the style and technique to which they connect. I recommend it to anyone looking for a creative outlet.
