Hidden Seashells or Rocks Rules

If you want to paint rock or seashells and hide them yourself, click this link for a full tutorial of my process. You should also note that there are some rules to follow:

  • You cannot hide them in protected environments like National Parks, Wildlife Conservations, etc.

  • You cannot hide them in businesses without permission from the business owner.

  • You cannot collage shells or place anything on them that can peel off (those things can fall off no matter how well they are stuck or glued on and can litter the environment)

  • If you include a label on the back of the shells or rock, it MUST be sealed completely in resin. I’ve found other shells that just stuck a label on and tried to seal it in clear spray paint and it still peeled off and was unfortunately littered.

  • Unless glitter paint is sealed in resin, it should not be used.
