Carolyn's Monday Mantra: I Am Safe and Protected

Ever feel like you need a make a decision to do something big, but fear takes over and makes you pull away? As the saying goes "The only thing to fear, is fear itself", and it's true my dear.

Allow me to introduce today's Monday Mantra: "I am safe and protected." When we think like this and tell it to ourselves on a daily basis, we overcome fear and move into the life we were meant to have.

No matter what obstacles are in the way, if you are truly listening to your heart and moving into a space that utilizes your gifts and talents in the best way possible, you cannot and will not fail.

I write this mantra in my journal everyday to remind myself that I am safe in my new life and I need to keep going--keep creating my art, keep writing and keep living my best life. This has helped me tremendously and is even helping me through writing a novel (yes, a novel.)

It currently has over 10,000 words (that of which I wrote in just a period of a few hours of writing...it just flowed out of me), will be a series for young adults, and I'm in absolute love with the story and characters.

I don't know where all my book writing and my art creation will take me, but I know I am safe and protected during my journey into this new way of life. Feeling safe and protected instead of fearful is the best way to get amazing things accomplished in life!

Backstory on my mantra series:

A mantra is a word, phrase, or sound that is repeated to aid in meditation. You could also compare it to a sort of prayer. I feel my journaling and writing of my mantras is a form of meditation or prayer. It calms me and helps me make better sense of my feelings and all the thoughts swimming around in my mind.

I believe saying or writing something repeatedly, as you already have it, aids one in attaining dreams and goals. If you write something as you already have it, it makes you feel, somehow, as if it is truly happening no matter how drastic or scary it may seem. It's like a trick to help your brain catch up to what your heart desires.
