DIY Boho Lavender and Wood Wall Art

Pin me! www.carolynsbloomingcreations.com

This project comes together with four simple items:

  • one bunch dried lavender

  • six, 3 ounce “milk” bottles (mine had corks, which I took out and saved for another project)

  • natural jute twine

  • a large, thick tree branch

I purchased all my items at Hobby Lobby (except the branch, which I found in our garage).

Directions:

  1. Tie the twine around the lip of the bottles several times, then around the branch. I had to practice doing this several times until I found the right lengths/knot sizes, etc. Each of my twine pieces were about 24 inches to start. Each bottle hangs from the branch about 8 inches after tying it to the tree branch.

  2. Tie a piece of jute twine around each end of the branch. My piece was about 24 inches, but this will vary according to the size branch you use.

  3. Cut the lavender to the desired length and place some in each bottle

  4. Hang the project from a wall (I used a thick screw as this was a bit on the heavy side) and enjoy!

There are so many variations for this project and if you make one, let me know in the comments! You could try different herbs, bottles and a different type of hanging device. See what amazing creation you can come up with!

Sending my light and love to anyone who needs it!
