Yes Please! Broccoli Cheese Tots (V, GF, DF)
Quick, easy and delicious: That’s THIS recipe! Potato Puffs, or Tater Tots (did you know Tater Tots, the title many call these yummy potatoes, is owned by Ore-Ida?!), are yummy on their own, but this recipe makes them a full meal!
If you want to make this gluten-free, you must make sure you are buying a gluten-free variety of tots. Everyday 365 by Whole Foods (what I used) among several other brands are gluten-free. Check out this article by Nima learn more!

Servings: 2-3 (depending on the size bag of tots you choose)
Preparation + Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Suggested kitchen tools: blender (high speed if you have one), measuring spoons, measuring cup, parchment paper, 2 large baking trays, spatula
1 16 oz. bag frozen tots
1 medium to large head of fresh broccoli, rinsed and chopped into small florets
1 tablespoon olive oil
sea salt, pepper (to taste)
One recipe of my Easy Vegan Smoky Cheddar “Cheese” Sauce
How-To:
Heat the oven to 425 degrees (F)
Line two baking trays with parchment paper
Place the tots on one lined tray. Place in the oven for 15 minutes.
Spread the broccoli out onto the other parchment lined baking tray. Toss with the 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a little bit of sea salt and pepper. Set aside.
Make the Easy Vegan Smoky Cheddar “Cheese” Sauce. Set aside.
When the 15 minute timer ends, remove the tots from the oven
Toss the tots slightly with a spatula. Place them back in the oven along with the tray of the seasoned broccoli for 10-15 minutes (or until tots and broccoli are slightly browned).
To serve: Place some broccoli and tots in a bowl and top with the cheese sauce
Eat and enjoy!
