| I started out baking using the Seasame Street Treasury books in the 1980's. I loved to bake and try new recipes, so my enthusiasm for cooking and baking kept going strong. I remember getting a new Treasury book every week at the grocery store and not being able to wait to get home to try out Cookie Monster's recipe. Today, I still have a great enthusiasm for cooking and baking. I love combining unique flavors to create an outstanding taste for all foods. I am an art teacher with Jefferson County Public Schools. While I love teaching, my cake's are what I do in my spare time. It is one of my forms of art. (Edible art!) This is why Blooming Creations began. I took my love for cooking and combined it with my talent and creativity. My husband, Tommy, is wonderful and supporting of my art. He works as a Business Analyst, but in his spare time, he helps me create all the cakes and desserts. He is a great taste tester, too! I can make most anything out of cake, as I hand sculpt many of them. Any one who has tried my cakes will tell you they are creative, beautiful, and taste great! Thanks for taking the time to read about me and Carolyn's Blooming Creations. |
